Grinding and Mixing

Most of the stone crushing equipments manufacturers are unable to provide the general information about their different product line that includes grinding machinery and mixing machine and plant. So here I tried to make things bit clear if you are looking for difference between mixing and grinding in an industrial process engineering perspective. The grinding system consists of a motorized grinding wheel rotating at the necessary speed (which is designed by the wheel’s width and manufacturer’s marking, normally by a formula) and a bed with an adjuster to point and grasp the work-piece. The grinding head of grinding machine can be restricted to travel across the permanent work piece or the work piece can be moved as the grind top stays in a fixed point. Almost all grinding machine consist of blade, knife or something sharp in order to convert the particle into fine powder or to convert large solids into small materials. Whereas most of the mixing machines are use only to combine two different nature of powders in order to make one chemical result of required chemical material or powder. Mixing is a unit operation that also includes manipulating a diversified physical system, with prime intention to make it more standardized.
