Social Media for B2B


I have heard so many people saying that for B2C and C2C products Facebook, twitter and any other social media portal is effective but for B2B we should come up with innovation and fresh database of buyers, importers and traders, and use some selected b2b portals in order to satisfy the need. I hereby, then strongly disagree because social media is about providing a platform to people from any society, industry and country, In between if I say that social media is also about social platform for different industries then b2b factor occurs with it. There are no boundaries in social media; one cannot bind anything for Business to business, Business to Consumer and Consumer to consumer connections, product postings, advertisement, marketing and branding.

I decided to write this blog after my debate with a person who tried to convince me that Facebook is not effective tool for Business to business works I sent him the counter reply by writing him that why should I stop using Facebook If I have 140+ friends 90% are from Construction and mining industry which is the main targeted industry for Stone crushing equipments manufacturers and I am in the conversation with two very potential buying leads for my Key account, That person walked away as if he heard nothing and without proving me wrong and the justification why he thought that Facebook is not actually for B2B related requirements.

I still believe, there are some people who think that some boundaries are there in Facebook or any other social media platform.
